The #70 Hollaender 1-1/2" External Coupling is a precision-machined aluminum fitting designed to join two sections of 1-1/2" OD pipe or Speed-Rail® in a straight line. Ideal for lighting grids, grip rigs, truss builds, and stage structures, this coupling provides a strong, smooth, and seamless connection — perfect for extending pipe lengths without welding.

Constructed from high-strength aluminum-magnesium alloy, the #70 External Coupling offers excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and lightweight handling. The stainless-steel set screws lock pipes firmly in place, ensuring a secure, non-slip joint that’s easy to assemble, disassemble, and reuse on set or in the studio.
